The Civil Society: Mutual Accountability Project (CS: MAP) is being implemented in Kapilvastu and Palpa districts from March 2017 to February 2020 with the support of FHI 360 / United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The goal is to foster a more legitimate, accountable, and resilient Nepali civil society that is capable of advancing the public interest.
The expected result of this project is to promote the good governance by strengthening the citizens, capacity building of the civil society organization, improve the internal governance, develop co-ordination between CSOs and media, improve the service delivery system of local government and create a warm and cordial environment by providing them support on good governance.

Because of regular discussion in common assembly service delivery of government offices increased.
The common assembly meeting in Bijayanagar Gaupalika ward no 2 Gugauli deduced the need to construct a birthing center and the importance of transparent display of the list of free medicines. In accordance with the government policy, following this meeting, the health post in- charge, health post management committee and the monitoring committee followed up on the construction work of birthing centre and helped to bring it into operation from April 8, 2018. The women in the area are getting safe child birth services from the birthing center. The civil society organizations observed in the latest oversight. The health post had displayed the list of free medicines for the public viewing.
